6082 Aluminum Sheet

6082 T6 is the strongest aluminum in the 6000 series alloys. T6 is solution heat treated and artificially aged.

6016 aluminum is a lower copper variant. It will show up in automotive applications that require formability and hemming capability above other characteristics, whereas 6082 is more likely to show up in load bearing framework due to its higher strength levels and impact resistance.
