I have worked at Kloeckner for 18 years, fresh out of college. On a daily basis we communicate with the customers, make sure that we have inventory in the pipeline to keep them in production with no delays, and that we react fast to any concerns.
The morale in the office is great. Everybody gets along well together, everybody looks out for each other. I love working with the customers, and the friendships that have developed over the years.
The benefits with Kloeckner are great for insurance and medical, but just the flexibility in the office in general.
We’re expected to do our work and do it on time, be here on time. As long as we do that, they’re very flexible with us going to doctor’s appointments or errands that may take a little longer or if we have family in town.
That makes it really nice to come into work knowing that they understand that we have lives outside of work. We’ve had people that have been here 35, 40, 45 years retire. The company has been so wonderful to people, they’ve been wonderful, and management’s always taking care of me. Just the environment in general has been great and has kept me here.
It just is a great place to work for, and I’m probably going to retire here myself.
