It’s fun to drive. For me, it’s relaxing. So, I enjoy what I do for a living. I just really just being out and seeing the outdoors more than anything. You see different cities, different walks of life. I really enjoy working for Kloeckner.

It’s laid back. It’s a fun place to be. If I have an issue, all I need to do is make phone call and it’s dealt with at that point. They make sure that you’re treated well.

You have nice equipment that you’re able to work with. It’s clean. You’re the only person in that truck so you have your own stuff in truck to make it your own. You got air ride seats, automatic transmissions, air conditioning, radio, which is nice to kind of pass the time.

I’m very happy with the hours. You hear of a 12-hour day, but it goes by actually very quick. You have electronic logs here that help you. And this really is a whole lot more efficient for us. It keeps up with our time. Come in. You do your 11 hours. You go home. You have time with the kids to help with the homework or have a date night with your spouse. If you need to come in later, they accommodate that. If you need to get off early for a doctor’s appointment.

The management team that we have are really fine people. It’s a lot of teamwork from the drivers and also from the warehouse staff and the office staff. They do look out for you and help.
Really good insurance. Affordable insurance. A nice 401K program. You can put in as little as you want or as much as you want. So, the benefits covers my kids and myself and my spouse. Kloeckner has great packages that you can pick from that suits your family, your household and your income.

I’m hoping to retire from Kloeckner. I’ve gotten used to everybody, how everything works, and it’s really a fun company to work for.

Working for Kloeckner, for me, has been awesome. This is the best choice to work.
