Hawaii Branch Celebrates 60 Year Anniversary

07.16.2019

Kloeckner Metals’ Hawaii branch is celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year. Located on Oahu, the facility began as Ziegler Steel on Ualena St. in 1959. After Ziegler, it was owned by Ferro Union for a few years. Then, when it became a part of Macsteel in 1999, the operation moved to the current location on Kalaeloa Blvd.

The Hawaii facility offers metal roofing manufacturing, a steel service center, and the only hot-dip galvanizing in the state. Combined with the facility’s other extensive value-added capabilities, such as burning, punching/drilling holes, shearing, and saw cutting, they are able to provide a diverse product offering and satisfy customer needs.

The key to the Hawaii facility’s continuing success is its employees. With excellent customer service, dedicated employees, and extensive sales knowledge, the branch has been able to maintain a high level of service over the years. The philosophy at the branch is to get to know each customer on a first name basis and treat them like family.

If you are interested in metal roofing, hot dip galvanizing, or a steel service center in Hawaii, call (678) 259-8800.
