“We are lean and mean with all hands on deck,” said Sales Manager Brian Clare. “With an office staff of 11, everyone has to do more than their fair share to make it happen.
The ALP facility has many capabilities including value-added services. They have two cut-to-length lines and a slitter which can handle .019 to .125 thick materials. They primarily work with galvanized, galvanneal, galvalume, cold rolled, HRPO, prepaint, and aluminum sheet products. The branch is led by GM Jon Greenlee, and the branch’s business philosophy is to do the little things right and the big ones will fall into place. If you treat customers fairly and out-service the competition, you will be successful. With a veteran staff and a solid business model, ALP is a profitable facility.
“Our employees are proud of what we’ve accomplished,” Clare said.
With two retirements in the past six months and another few still to come, the ALP facility is going to be seeing some new faces. There are many opportunities awaiting individuals who come in ready to work and learn about the facility and its functions.
“I am excited for those that will remain behind and the new employees to see where we can take this facility in the future,” Clare said.
