We are thrilled to announce that Kloeckner Metals’ parent company, Klöckner & Co, has been awarded one of the World’s Best Employers of 2020! Forbes, one of the world’s most successful business magazines, partnered with market research firm Statista to identify which workplaces would receive the World’s Best Employers award.

Over the summer, Statista asked participants to rate their work experiences, surveying more than 160,000 full-time and part-time workers from 58 countries. Anonymous surveys made room for employees to share their truest opinions.

The surveys asked employees about their willingness to recommend their workplace to their friends and family. They also asked about their level of satisfaction with their employers’ Covid-19 responses. Employees scored their employers on image, economic footprint, talent development, gender equality and social responsibility. They also assessed competitors within their respective industries, either positively or negatively.

Making the Final List

The final list of World’s Best Employers includes 750 multinational and large corporations headquartered in 45 countries.  Only the top 15% of all employers included in Statista’s survey, earned the award. The full results are available to view on Forbes.

That Klöckner & Co belongs to the top 15% reflects what we know to be true — Kloeckner is an exceptional place to work.  Kloeckner Metals was also recently recognized as a Top Workplace in the USA and such positive international acknowledgment straight from our employees further demonstrates that our commitment to creating a rewarding workplace is paying off.
