ARMHC: Thank You, Kloeckner Metals, Our Newest Corporate House Champion

Kloeckner Metals, a metals supplier and service center headquartered in Roswell with 43 branches nationwide, is our newest Corporate House Champion.

As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, KloecknerCares, the team looked for charities that allowed each location to make a difference, so they chose Ronald McDonald House Charities. Their $25,000 sponsorship includes adopting rooms at both our Ronald McDonald Houses, in addition to other volunteer opportunities, and provides 250 families a room for one night.

Shameca contacted Atlanta RMHC to learn how to get involved. “Several members of our corporate office toured the Atlanta RMHC facility and were immediately won over,” Shameca says. “We started with a Pop Top drive and look forward to many more opportunities to give back to RMHC in the coming months.”

Amanda Middendorf, Kloeckner’s VP of Human Resources, says, “KloecknerCares isn’t just the name of our charitable program, it reflects so much more who we are. Our Kloeckner facilities are tight-knit environments where colleagues really care about each other and the communities where we live.

“We are committed to providing extra support when someone is going through a rough time. That’s exactly what Ronald McDonald House Charities does for its families, too,” Amanda says.

Our Corporate Champions program is a major way your company can help to keep our families together during the most difficult times in their lives. To become a Corporate Champion or to learn more about the program, contact [email protected].
