Kloeckner Metals expands Greenville by 50,000-square-foot

Kloeckner Metals, a producer and distributor of steel and metal products, recently expanded its Greenville facility. The expansion includes a 50,000-square-foot bay with 43-ton cranes.

The addition also has an automated slitting line to process advanced high strength steel and aluminum products.

Roswell, Ga.-based Kloeckner Metals invested more than $11 million in the expansion at the main facility on White Horse Road which will create 19 new jobs.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved job development credits for the expansion and a $100,000 grant was awarded to Greenville County to help with site preparation costs.
